Characterized by her personalized approach and creativity, Jen Dallas melds sophistication and history in creating the design of each project. Well-versed in many periods and styles, she has a true appreciation for the old meets the new. She strives to add character throughout her well chosen design details.

Jen goes far beyond the traditional designer; carefully collaborating and incorporating her client’s nature as a whole; their purpose, aspirations, and goals to make a positive change in the home, office and garden. Research plays a vital role in Jen’s work; her process begins with an individualized client program tailored to reflect client conversations and meetings. Jen explains,“Our collaborative design process helps our clients hone into creating a clear vision of their desired lifestyle; together we create a way of living that involves ease and comfort, taking our clients to a whole new way of being.”

Between site visits and client meetings, her studio has their own line of textiles and matching ceramic tiles. They create a variety of home goods from their textiles. Check them out at www.maplejude.com or the link above. She also has her own collection of lighting that is due Fall 2022 along with her own line of rugs and furniture debuting in 2023. Jen resides in Los Angeles, California.

PERRY HELDERMAN

ASSOCIATE DESIGNER

Perry grew up surrounded by the colonial homes and farms of Litchfield County, Connecticut. From an early age she came to appreciate the charm of historic architecture and antique furniture. She studied at Dickinson College and graduated with honors from Loyola University Chicago with a BA in Art History & Studio Art - she spent her summers working at auction houses and Yale University Furniture Study Gallery; learning the trades of decorative arts and design.

In 2011, she made the journey out to Southern California where she crossed paths with Jen Dallas and the rest is history! Perry has been by Jen’s side since nearly the beginning; wearing many hats since joining the company in 2011. Perry has taken on the role of Associate Designer and Project Manager. She has mastered the balance between the old and new with her move out west; an eye for both antiques and contemporary aesthetic. Her favorite aspect of California living is the indoor-outdoor lifestyle.

Perry’s favorite movie is Sideways - she loves to travel and continually revisit California Wine Country regions. She is a foodie at heart and loves to chat about restaurants and delicious recipes. You will frequently see her running the beach path from Santa Monica to Venice, hiking Los Liones mountain, or exploring her inner yogi.
